Havant Hockey Club and Barn Door Events present
the 2025 End of Season Celebration!
Changing things up again we invite you to celebrate the end of the hockey season with us at The Black Barn. This year we're bringing the country vibe with a new format, new activities and amazing street food trucks.
To keep you entertained this year, we've got our all new game tents; take part in games and compete against your fellow guests to earn prizes.
Get your dancing boots on, and hoe down to the live country band. Cowboy hats recommended!
Doors open 6:30PM, arrive promptly to enjoy your complimentary welcome drink before awards are presented.
It’s Back.
Bigger than ever!
This year we’re inviting all our members, friends and family to celebrate the end of the hockey season with us at The Black Barn.
In our biggest End of Season ever we’re bring the entire #teamgreen together at the party of the season!
food, your choice
This year we’re giving you the choice of what when you eat and how much you want to spend.
With a selection of delicious options, including sweet and savoury, served all evening, our food trucks will be delivering tasty treats throughout the party.
Prices vary per vendor but expect to spend around £10 - £15 per dish.

Just Street Food
Slow-cooked fast-food. Bringing Michelin standards to street food. Just Street Food serves up plates stacked with 16 hour smoked beef brisket, pulled pork and more.
A concept born out of simplicity, by celebrity chef Jameson Stocks.
The Line Up.
The End of Season is about coming together as a club and recognising a season well played with your friends family and fellow players, but more importantly it’s about having a big ol’ party!
As promised we’re keeping the talking to a minimum this year and maximising your partying time.
18:30 — Doors open
18:30-19:00 — Mingling time, Grab your welcome drink!
19:00-19:30 — Welcome speech, prize giving and season roundup.
19:30-22:30 — Food court and game tents open. It’s party time!
20:00-21:00 — Band plays.
21:30-22:30 — Band plays.
22:30-23:00 — Carriages.
Live Music.
Put on those dancing shoes.
It wouldn’t be a barn dance without some music. We’ve got a treat of a country band playing some oldies to get you swaying and some of the latest and greatest with a country twist.
Later in the evening we’ll continue the party with more country and disco tunes.
Prize games.
Points mean prizes!
Take part in our party games and face off against your friends to win tokens which you can exchange for prizes and free drinks at the bar.
Journey into our prize tents to find a selection of interactive games where you can wager your tokens to win big!
You’ll be given couple of tokens on arrival and you can purchase more tokens at the bar. We’ll have a selection of prizes available from our sponsors, the club and of course drinks from the bar.

Not only have we slashed the price, we’ve shortened the speeches too!
Every ticket includes:
A welcome drink on arrival.
Only 30 minutes (max hopefully) of speeches and awards!
Free bar snacks.
2 free tokens to take to the game tents.
2 hours of live music from our country band.
How to get there
The Black Barn is situated on Hayling Island opposite the Lidl and is a short 7 minute walk from the bus stop on the 30 and 31 bus routes.
The Portsmouth to Hayling ferry is a great option for those cycling from the city.
We also have some parking at the venue, although who wants to drive really?
Several taxi firms operate around the island however we do recommend booking well in advance.
